The catch is, in order for Wakko's wish to be granted, he must travel very, very far to where the star has fallen to Earth and touch it before anyone else does. Things start looking brighter when Wakko miraculously picks the one star in the sky that can make his wish for happiness come true. The cartoon mayhem begins in the little village of Acme Falls - where the once-cheerful and prosperous villagers, including Yakko, Wakko and Dot, are being taxed to the max by the greedy Baron von Plotz. It was intended to be the series finale and the final Animaniacs production (not counting print media or video games) until the Animaniacs reboot in 2020. It has since been rerun on TV on occasion, and was released on DVD on October 7, 2014. It was released on Decemon VHS by Warner Home Video, re-released on Januas part of the Warner Bros. Century 2000 Collection, and made its television debut on Kids' WB! on February 21, 2000.
In the need of prosperity to return to the town of Acme Falls, Wakko manages to summon a wish-granting star, initiating the Warners' and townspeople's journey to the wishing star hoping to reach it before King Salazar.
